The turning point was Henri Bourgeois in the 1950s, cultivating on the slopes of Chavignol, an area that was unknown at that time. This is where the reputation grew.
Today, Arnaud, Lionel, and Jean-Christophe Bourgeois are the successors. Being natural, although not certified organic, is also important to the family. Modern, eco-friendly cellar was constructed in the 1980s. Vines are grown using organic fertilizers and the vineyards are planted with cover crops without weed killers.
